Best Cell Phone Services

Since cell phones have become such a big part of our lives, decisions such as which cell phone provider to choose can really make a difference. But with so many cell phone providers available, it can be difficult to know which one to choose. Here is a quick look at some of the best cell phone services available.

Verizon

Not only does Verizon offer good customer service, but they have also proven to have the best connection services out of any other company. However, this strong and consistent service does come with a high price tag—Verizon packages can cost up to twice as much as other companies' plans.

T-Mobile

Offering good coverage and customer service, T-Mobile has proven to be good competition for the other companies making up the “Big 4” of mobile phones. What makes T-Mobile shine above the rest though is their generous phone plans. Not only does T-Mobile provide more packages than others, but they also offer generous rollover data and strong international coverage. The only downside to T-Mobile is that they have less coverage than companies like Verizon and may also have a smaller selection of devices.

AT&T

With the largest selection of devices available at AT&T, you will always be able to find the perfect phone package you want. With decent coverage as well, AT&T is a solid phone service option. One potential drawback to AT&T is the limited low-data plan options for individual users. Additionally, AT&T also has a complicated access fee structure, which may cause some problems down the road.

Sprint

Rounding out the “Big 4,” Sprint has been slowly improving its services and packages in an attempt to keep up with the competition. With exceptional customer service and low prices for unlimited data individual phone plans, Sprint is proving to be a rapidly improving choice. However, the low service speed of Sprint devices may be enough to change your mind.

Boost Mobile

Boost Mobile is a strong option for customers who are looking for a simple prepaid phone plan, or who wish to avoid the hassle of dealing with larger phone companies. Boost Mobile not only offers some of the best device selection compared to other small prepaid phone companies, but it also offers the unique option of increasing your data allotment simply by keeping up with payments. The only downside to choosing Boost Mobile is that the phone service relies on cell coverage from their parent company, Sprint.

Ting

A lesser-known company, Ting uses a phone plan structure that only requires you to pay for what you actually use, with minutes, texts, and data being billed separately. Additionally, Ting has proven to have one of the best customer services on the market. However, Ting works by using either Sprint or T-Mobile’s connection services (depending on the phone) so you may have to function off of a slower network as a result.
